Tips on how to quickly lose money on a stock:

My first trip is to Yahoo with the symbol. Especially if it is an OTC BB stock like GTCI:

quote.yahoo.com

You can plug any symbol into the quotes box on the top line to find information on that particular stock. Click on the Symbol itself to come up with more detailed information on the stock and it's recent trading. The larger cap stocks will have more information but there are still limitations to the information you can find at Yahoo. A much more complete site that will link you to lots of other useful sites is Daily Stocks:

dailystocks.net.

Once again use the quotes box and type in the symbol you want to research. On news that you know came out a while ago but Yahoo no longer has available you can find it at one of the many sites that Daily Stocks allows you easy access to Stock Profiles:

fast.quote.com

For charting on OTC BB stocks I like to use some basic technical analysis by quickly checking this chart. It's no great help but it makes me feel good looking at those Christmas colors:

dailystocks.net

On larger stocks like AMMB I'll visit WSRN a research site:

wsrn.com

Just punch in the symbol and start looking at some hard numbers and industry comparisons:

www1.wsrn.com

On more well know stocks I'll do a complete technical analysis with Market Edge's Second Opinion. It's expensive but accurate from a technical analysis standpoint.

There is much more to it Francois but every investor needs to experiment with their own techniques to find out what works best for them. Francois you are kicking butt in the market so you need no help at all. Answer one question for me though. How much of this research report is believable on GTCI?

wallstreetresearch.net

Thanks for asking about my techniques which, as you can see do not include checking SEC documents, understanding the market segment the particular stock is in, their competition, the product, their clients or any other hard facts or evidence. Buy first, pretend research next, rely on company and paid tout's info, ask others who are just as much in the dark as I am for advice, and hype the stock all over SI - that is my ResearchWrong system.
