Used Chartsmart for a year and switched to Metastock a while back. Although Chartsmart has some good features almost all the search engines are based on percentage change in price and volume. There is a lot more to technical analysis than this. It doesn't give you any real power to scan for trend, patterns, etc. You also can't write your own scans and back test idea. You can't draw trend lines, channels, or any other key markers needed for analysis. For the same amount of money you can get a superior product in my opinion (e.g Windows on Wallstreet, Metastock, Tradestation, Supercharts, etc,).
