Dan, in a world in which our country now leads all others in brand new and unheard of loathesome statistics, and we are exporting it via the net and sattelite TV to every tiny hamlet in the world, isn't it time we got serious with a lot of teachings that before were good as overall generalizations which fit almost every situation? And in a country which until about 30 years ago was just about exclusively a nation of Christians practicing Christ's teachings to the extent that they were able, except for a few pockets of ethnic this and that which were usually totally harmless? I only know that even a fool cannot ere within the exact meaning of the scriptures, and that means even me. :)
