Re: Buy.com Well, what you say is correct for the products mentioned. Buy.com is about $33 cheaper on the Palm Pilot III. I suspect that there is no profit here for Buy.com and they are just generating a revenue stream so they can get their money from an IPO. Hence, they are using IPO futures to subsidize their products. Interesting but ultimately unsustainable. DELL is substantially cheaper on many items than the brick and concrete retailers for those products. Is DELL's execution worth the 10%? Maybe.
