Can't argue with that. There is no doubt that stocks can be raided and false negative rumors planted. In fact, I profited very handsomely by going long into a "bear raid" on Banker's Trust (BT) that drove the stock to 50 a share. The company now trades near 90 as a result of a buyout.

The trick is to determine if the rumors are true or false. If you think false, bet the opposite way.

I've concluded that the bull case for VLNC is a bunch of smoke and mirrors and I have bet accordingly.
