Touche, Michael. I can't believe we're still discussing this, but bottom line, when discussing the average and mean of such a large sample, U.S. drivers, those numbers will be quite close as I would expect a fairly normal distribution. And the whole thing is so subjective anyway (what is a good driver or a bad driver and how bad are the bad ones and how good are the good ones?) that this discussion has gotten all too silly. Let it suffice to say that half of all drivers are worse than the median and half are better than the median just as half of all investors are worse than the median and half are better.

p.s. Just to save my own knuckles, I guess it's not quite half as there is that one person who is the median so it's about 49.9999% that are better and about 49.9999% who are worse.

Back to Yahoo and the internuts, another good week except for Friday.
