Hi Vince ! If that was the case, American interest would own today close to 10% of CGI . BCE owns already around 46% of CGI. Would that make a difference today ? Instinctively I would not be so sure, the % would be too low. We have to think of a scenario where the 3 major shareholders of CGI would deal their BCE shares + CGI shares + $$$ to buy a parent Company (in their field) from the one who would buy 20% of BCE shares to make a difference for CGI shareholders like you and I.
