I take his "article" on shorting and the SEC, particularly when he refers to shorters as criminals, to be very offensive drivel. I'm not even going to take the time to respond to all his points in that garbage. But, here is a short response.
His claim that the SEC is played by the shorts, pure garbage. We don't cause the criminality of the insiders, the touts, the CEOs etc..
His claim that theirs a group of shorters on SI out to manipulate stock prices, garbage. We don't tout or pump a stock. we see that it's overvalued and have the perfect right to short sell it. We tend to be a bit negative and sceptical about company stories, because so many of them, particularly with the small cap issues, end up being nonsense. We have the perfect right to discuss the facts re. valuations, company financials, the credibility or criminality of management, the validity of the story, etc. etc.. So long as it's factual and true, there's no law against discussion re. issues.
If there's a distortion of facts, false rumors being spread, or outright lies, then the legality is in question. It doesn't matter, in this case, that you're long or short or on the sidelines.
Now Rande IS is calling some shorters in SI CRIMINALS. WHY DOESN'T HE COME OUT AND NAME THEM???????? I DARE YOU MR. RANDE IS (NOT). You'll have an expensive lawsuite on your hands if you do. So where are we breaking the law? Front running, illegal touting, rumour spreading? Tell us Rande! Give specific examples before you spread such innuendo, which we all know to whom its pointed at.
That's all I've to say for now.
