I want one of the ones that inflate when you pull on a thingie

Problem with these is that in an accident involving impact, people can be thrown out of boats with head injuries and not be able to pull the thingie. They do have some that will inflate automatically on contact with water. Problem there is that they sometimes inflate when hit with spray. There are vests designed for whitewater paddlers that you hardly know you're wearing, even in a full range of movement, but which have full flotation. Expensive, but worth it.
