LS 120 punting in the 4th quarter, minutes left in game. After spending a ton of money on this technology, you can't blame them for taking a last minute stab at making it go. The problem is that they simply screwed up with the backward compatability idea. Much like making a cassette player that would also play 8 track tapes, they are handicapped by this. I work at a fortune 500 company and we are buying zip and jaz drives like crazy. I expect we will soon replace all our bernoulli drives with zip and jaz drives. I also expect that we will start stocking zip and jaz disks in our company stores as we replace the bernoulli. I just set some computers up with a bernoulli and a zip so they can transfer data as they phase this in. We also have network drives but everyone wants the privacy of zip storage for some of their projects. We will probably have zips in all our 10,000 computers within a couple of years. Good luck.
