Doug, Regarding your points: 1. The 12% increase in traffic this quarter compared to last quarter was reported in the WSJ last week. Traffic to web sites is monitored and updated by MediaMetrix and/or other similar agencies. 2. Ask anyone who works in retail and he/she will tell you that traffic is the formost important factor that is used to predict sales. Any statistician would also agree. In you example, while you spend less time at ebay, a newbie like me can spend an awfully lot of time, much more than you did when you started. 3. When the selling cycle is longer for sellers, it slows down the rate ebay recgnizes revenues. No matter what spin you can think of Doug, a significant decrease in traffic growth is a fact, it's only 12%, and it was published in the WSJ last week. A decrease in traffic growth spells trouble for ebay. Plain and simple. Regards, Tom
