However, there is no SEC restriction against simply being bullish, thereby goosing the market higher. The success of a TSCM or GS IPO would undoubtedly hinge on the market sentiment at the time it is priced.

I personally discount everything that comes out of the investment banks. The analysts are compromised. They take "earnings guidance" from companies. Whatever happened to analysts actually doing analysis? Why did 3 investment banks downgrade Oracle after it tanked? Thanks for the "analysis", guys!

Also, many people (including myself) have beat the indices handily each year (as well as Mr. Cramers published returns from even his most successful years) by simply buying and holding DELL, EMC, AOL, etc. What is the value added by Cramer's active trading? So he can be in the game, and impress us underlings with his shop talk and elitism?
