Isonics Corporation to Exhibit at SEMICON Europa 1999

GOLDEN, Colo., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Isonics Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ISON) announced
today that it will exhibit its isotopically pure silicon-28 wafers at SEMICON Europa 1999 in Munich,
Germany, April 13 - 15, 1999. Silicon-28 wafers, manufactured exclusively by Isonics, exhibit higher
thermal conductivity characteristics than wafers manufactured using natural silicon.

Established to promote global business opportunities for semiconductor equipment, material and service
suppliers, SEMICON Europa is the largest international conference and exposition specific to the
industry. The show is particularly important for Isonics in that approximately one-half of their revenues
come from their German subsidiary ChemoTrade and much of their materials manufacturing operations
are located in Eastern Europe.

Isonics' ultra-pure wafers are composed of in isotopically pure silicon-28 layer epitaxially grown on a
standard silicon single-crystal wafer. Recent tests have shown that isotopically pure silicon-28 has greater
than 50 percent higher thermal conductivity than natural silicon. The Company believes that the improved
thermal characteristics of isotopically pure silicon-28 will facilitate the manufacture of higher density
integrated circuits resulting in increased performance and improved chip yields. The elegance of
isotopically pure silicon-28 is that while it has better properties than standard silicon, it can be used
without any changes in existing silicon semiconductor manufacturing processes. The Company is also
working to provide bulk wafers made entirely of higher thermal conductivity silicon-28.

At SEMICON Europa, Isonics will be exhibiting a computer model developed by Dr. Peter Raad from
Southern Methodist University which demonstrates the peak temperature reduction possible due to the
higher thermal conductivity of silicon-28 wafers.

You can find Isonics in Booth #B2-105.

Isonics is an advanced materials and technology company which develops and commercializes products
based on enriched stable isotopes. Stable isotopes can be thought of as ultra-ultra pure materials. This
high degree of purification provides enhanced performance properties compared to normal materials.
Stable isotopes have commercial uses in several areas, including energy; research, medical diagnostics,
and drug development; product tagging and stewardship; semiconductors; lasers; and optical materials.
