No, I just wrote on half my position to get a quick sure gain with 2 weeks left till expiration. I am still riding up with my other half, in fact I used the premium to buy more. Also I will be free to buy more next Monday after I get my cash, which I plan on plowing into Qwest.

I am not really complaining, a gain is a gain. But this darn thing happens to me all the time. I am a pretty good stock picker but a lousy timer. I have written calls on stock 9 times, and 8 of them resulted in getting called away.

I think the writing of calls is a great thing if you own about 100,000 shares of GE or ATT,something that doesn't move too much, and you can write a call for a 1/2 a point premium and still walk away with 50,000 dollars. But to get big premiums you have to have something that's volitile, and the chances of getting it called away are great. I think from now on I'll stick with just hanging on long term and try not to get cute.

One last comment, maybe this upgrade will start Qwest to seperate from LVLT. I cannot figure out how people continue to equate LVLT's value with Qwest. There is almost no comparison. Maybe in a few years, but not now.
