I don't like "The message you requested does not exist" either. It's a teeny bit insulting. Like, "The message you requested does not exist, stupid." Because you've gone looking for something that doesn't exist. It's like "Bzzit!"

It's also embarrassing, like you accidentally saw up and old lady's skirt and she caught you and said, "What are you doing here?" "It's a bus, lady!"

"The message you requested does not exist anymore"

"And the person who posted it is in trouble."

And anyway, that deleted message's effects still exist, and it exists in the offendees' mind, and some of their hard drives, and I bet the SI cops keep a record of them associated with each criminal and the spanking issued so it's not even accurate.

"This is the edge of the World . Keep going and you're going to fall off."

It stinks. And after we're done here, let's pick on something else.
