Hi K,
The WSJ had an article some months back which was based on a study comparing women to men as investors. It seems the women were clearly more successful. But, when looked at closely, the data revealed that the women, as a group, had one characteristic that accounted for their greater success --- They were much less inclined to do short term trades; much more likely to be buy-and-hold types. This entirely accounted for their greater success as a group.
