Verify

"Verify when writing" is a normal routine function of drives. Jaz, Zip, Orb, Seagate, WDC, all offer this function. For the most reliable writing, VERIFY is switched to "On." However, this slows down the writing process. It is normal and recommended by various multimedia software manuals that "Disk Verify" be switched to "Off" to enable the target drive to write at its fastest capability.

Any more effort put into trashing ORB because of a "verify" feature is just a sad little attempt at grasping at straws.--and displays a lack of knowledge about A/V drive characteristics.

In fact, Castlerwood ORB is superior to Jaz in very way.
