Stumpy doesn't like getting a bath. His parents say that if fleas didn't like him, he wouldn't have to. We have a big sort of commercial stainless steel sink, and he barely fits in it. Fortunately he doesn't do the dog shake thing. But he cries. Really loud. The room is a little small, and it hurts your ears. This upsets his sister, Lupita, and she comes downstairs from wherever she is sleeping, and comes to the bathroom door. It's shut to keep him in, but she puts her paw under the door to try to open it and let him out. [I keep a fork handy to stick in it.] Then they get in a mutual cry fest. A lot of crying and wailing. All that's happening is he's getting wet, but he seems to think otherwise. We dry him off good and by evening he thinks he's the new boy on the block and prances around making the other cats squint at his beauty. Did I mention he's a big fat idiot?
