I don't disagree that earnings will not surprise, but the conference call should be interesting nevertheless. Expect some upbeat projections on in-home networking and partnerships, and some interesting reactions to anticipated hostile questioning. Street traders and 3COM have developed a mutual adversarial relationship but this may not be shared by longer term investors. All will be forgiven if 3COM suddenly spurts, of course. Street greed is always trump in this game.
