Good to know you're still around Frank. Personally I think there is a great market for the right head gear display. In fact, if anyone is interested, I'm willing to investigate the business potentials (doing an IPO beat the hell out of buying them <G>). Here are the advantages that I see for such devices versus the traditional one. - Prioe/performance. The biggest advantage is size. A helmet can provide you the same field of vision as 48" TV in the living room at a fraction of the cost. - Sound. you should be able to creat a much better surround sound quality within a helmet than most home stereos, again at a fraction of the cost. - Size. Everyone at home can have one of these to watch their favorite tv program without fighting over the channels. - Virtual reality. As a computer monitor display, you should be able to provide some visual panning as you turn your head, or for that matter, you can control you movement (or fire aim) at the direction that you are facing.
