OT: Orb stuff
Allen, you said, "I'm sure that in the meantime, thousands of Iomega customers, or potential customers might by Orb instead of Jaz."
According to estimates I have seen on the web (not by any acknowledged Iomeganut I am aware of), you might have meant to say "tens" instead of "thousands." The estimate I saw was in response to the question of just how many Orb drives are out there. The answer was " 7 ".
Well, Ricky, I've been looking at comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.storage, too, and I have found things like:
Message ID: 7cj77p$hpc$1@blackice.winternet.com "Orb...the real world stories" Original problem was that the poster cannot get a Zip and Orb to coexist, although he had the Zip working fine before he installed the Orb.
>I communicated by e-mail with Castlewood, but we never resolved the problem. Their response was basically: "We have a computer here with both an ORB and Zip and it works fine, so we don't know why it doesn't work for you."
If that's the email "help" that you get from Castlewood, then it's nothing to brag about, not even for you.
