Indocan Resources Inc. -- ExcellentAssay Received-New Drilling Program Started March 15, 1999 02:02 PM VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 1999-- Indocan Resources Inc. IDCN is pleased to announce that drilling on the first four holes at Isaac's Harbour is complete with excellent results so far. The core has yet to be split and fully assayed but certain samples have been processed. A small amount of grab samples from the coring at Hole No. 4 came back today with excellent results. Atomic Absorption showed 5 grams per ton. When processed through a mill circuit and cyanide leached, it could yield four times that amount which is the norm for the formation and rock type in this area. Certain companies have recently announced new methods of extraction; this could be excellent for Indocan on this property. Many great intersections have been hit on the first four holes indicating that we should keep on drilling. Our drilling contractor, Eastern Diamond Drilling has been notified and the crews hired for another 10 holes to commence immediately. Financing for the new 10-hole program is completed. These new holes will be on a parallel line with Hole No. 1 to No. 4 and will begin the data source for quantification. Hole No. 5 will be at 70-degrees drilled right down vein 27 that is high-yield quartz vein material. Hole No. 6 will be vertical through the dome of the twin anticline. This is where veins 27 & 27a surface and split into two large, opposite running veins. Hole No. 7 will be straight into the syncline following vein 27a. These holes will be drilled at the site of ramp No. 2, which is from the old workings in 1860. Watch the company Web site at www.indocan.com for frequent updates.
