Three Divisions:
EcoSys--point-of-use pollution equipment for the semiconductor industry. Only company we know offering a portfolio of solutions as well as 24-7 field service for all point-of-use equipment. Market is highly fragmented, we think we are #1 or #2 worldwide.
NovaMOS--next-generation materials and delivery systems. Recently announced agreement with AT&T Bell Labs (now Lucent Technologies) for using capacitor materials (BST: Barium Strontium Titanate) for mobile communications (e.g. imagine reducing the capacitor chips in a cellular phone from a couple dozen to a handful); have an agreement with Siemens for ferroelectric materials (SBT: Strontium Bismuth Tantalate) for non-volatile memories. All stemming from $15 million/4 year program with ARPA (Advanced Research Projects Agency), IBM, Texas Instruments, and Micron Technology to create BST technology for 256Mb and 1Gb DRAMs.
NovaSource department of NovaMOS created Safe Delivery Source product, marketed by Matheson Electronic Gas Products. This product is able to store 5-6x as much gas in the same-sized cylinder, at below atmospheric pressure. It is highly popular in the ion implant side of the semiconductor industry.
Epitronics--high performance wafer substrates and materials. Includes such materials as Gallium Arsenide, Silicon Carbide, SIMOX, etc. Fromerly known as "diamond electronics."
