Hi Kenneth - Our best prospects for BOD candidates is to back who CalPERS and SWIB nominate. Really, we need to draft a pointed letter to these organizations stating our concerns and that we back their positions with our stock proxies. The track record of these organizations are very good and they tend to nominate BOD members who represent (1) the companies long term interests and (2) the shareholder's interests (not necessarily excuitive management's interests).

From my reading of the some 7000 post over the last 18 months, I believe the concensus on this board believes Novell needs the following:

1) New CEO with vision and course through 2005.
2) Aggressive integrated marketing to promote new products
3) Goal to develop a new corporate culture throughout the company across all lines to pursue "Customer Satisfaction and Network Solutions". Go to the Customer rather than let the customer come to them. Again this is translated down the ranks through the CEO.

I believe three BOD positions are available. I would like to see who CalPERS or SWAB have on their short list for a NOVELL CEO. Is there anyway we can get this detail?
