If you read my posts I don't think I ever referred to MSFT as open. As far as the PC industry goes I was refering to the hardware. As for SUN's grade I don't think I'd go as high as you have - JAVA is not an open standard and neither is Solaris. I won't disagree with MSFT's grade but will this play out as an advantage or disadvantage? Claude (rhymes with TOAD)
