OT - 3D Helmets

I'm not sure how motorcycle helmets work, but I was thinking along the lines of the cheap baseball helmets you get at games. Have an adjustable strap that circles the head. Really, if you design it correctly, you might could sell it designed to attach to a particular type of helmet. Sure, since the device would probably be sold initially online only, you could tailor each order. But I think you're going to want it to be adjustable so that friends and family can try it out.

What sort of price point do you think you would have to hit for it to become feasible? What components would have to be proprietary? Obviously, the speakers could be standard Walk-Man type. The helmet might have to be proprietary if you need a dark background. The video display could consist of a couple small LCD screens. Do you know whether they have developed curved LCD's yet? That would be neat! It would also be great if the device could plug into a USB port, but I doubt the bandwidth of USB is high enough for graphics.
