Hey Bill, Just got off the phone with Michael Blass of APT. He's fielding investor relations calls. Apparently he's getting a lot of calls because when I first tried this morning one of the APT engineers picked up and told me that Micahel Blass was the person to talk to but I might want to send him an email since he's been getting a lot of calls.
I tried in the afternoon and did catch him.
First question: "Have you or anyone at your company seen a successful prototype of the ReDox battery?" Answer (paraphrased): Personally I have not and as for the engineers here, I am not allowed to comment.
[Note: In general, there was a lot of "I'm not allowed to comment" to the conversation. Apparently this is due to their being a private company. They (APT) don't even like to comment on themselves, how much less so some other company, i.e. ReDox.
Question: How many employees does your company have? Answer: 12 (now paraphrasing:) but if you take into account some of our partners, then 50 is a closer number.
Question: Where are you getting the money to pay ReDox anything? My research shows you don't have any cash flow.
Answer (paraphrasing): We don't have any cash flow, we are a research company. However, we have very strong financial backing...way more money supporting us than what is talked about in that news release. But I'm not allowed to go into it.
At one point in the conversation I laid it down to Mr. Blass that what ReDox is doing seems virtually impossible, an OTC company making claims of revolutionizing the battery world, car batteries, etc. He basically said that his company, APT, wouldn't be involved with ReDox if they had doubts about ReDox's technology.
I also put a call into ReDox itself. I spoke briefly with a Mr. Overholt (sp?). I started the conversation saying that I post on a stock internet thread and could I quote whatever he told me onto the thread? Big mistake! He replied, "Absolutly not!" and explained that he has been misquoted so many times...
So he said I should send my questions via email. I have done so and will let the thread know about any reply. I assume he may need a day or two.
That's all for now, Chris |
