On page 7E of the Computing Section in today's San Jose Mercury News, there is an article by Craig Crossman titled, "SyQuest aims to give Jaz the blues." The article lists the basic features of the SyJet, offers a simple comparison to the Jaz, and goes on to explain that the SyJet comes in three configurations: for PC and Macintosh, both the internal SCSI and external portable SCSI drives. An external parallel port and internal enhanced IDE versions will be available for the PC shortly. The article also asks "will syJet be a Jaz killer?" and then goes on to say that Iomega has a huge following with its Zip and Jaz drives, isn't sitting still, and has already announced a new 2-inch format removable technology.
