OT: Video-In recommendations?

Will V3 support Video-In? One of my friends just got the high-end Sony digital video recorder, and wants to upgrade his Viper 330 (AGP). I would recommend the Canopus Spectra, but they no longer are in that market. Does anyone have a similar setup? What do you recommend?
