Tech Investor,

To be totally honest with you, I have no idea about the networking sector. I bought NPIX solely on the value of takeover speculation. I guess I learned my lesson.

I should point out however that I am still confident a deal will come up. I'm just not real optimistic about the time frame however. The way I see it is this. If I'm correct, 3 Com announced pretty significant price cuts on its low end ethernet products. If this is true, I believe it gives the leadership at NPIX great incentive to sell their company to a larger company that would have an easier time absorbing price pressure. The way NPIX is spending money right now trying to build infrastructure, I don't think they can handle it right now.

Again, I know little about the networking stocks and less about the technology involved. I am in daily contact with a friend who works in the field though, and still feel confident a deal is in the works. I know this sounds like hype, and freely admit that my track record is not too good right now, as I was saying the same thing when the stock was at $20. So, in other words, invest on your own research and homework, not my rumors.

Good Luck,

brother
