Cameron, All -

I've been thinking that it's not fair we should discuss how well Orb competes with Jaz and Jaz2. We should apply the same standards to Castlewood's products that are applied by the bears to Iomega's. Orb should be evaluated in comparison to future Iomega products.

At some unspecified point in the future, Iomega will have a 2 to 5GB removable hard disk that's available with SCSI and FireWire interfaces. It will be fast, fast, fast. The drive will cost no more than two hundred dollars, and the media will be no more than twentyfive bucks for two gigs. Furthermore, Iomega's drives and media will be available in quantity at virtually all retail outlets.

There will even be an optional Dog Polisher attachment.

Which drive will the consumer choose then? Castlewood will be toast.
