I wish to discuss "REDUCING RISK"

Reducing risk is important for most of us especially with small portfolios. The reason for trading rules is to eliminate or reduce risk.

1. There is added risk in trading near the open due to delayed trade reporting by NASDAQ. If you choose to trade at or prior to the open, make sure the pattern is 90% predictable because the loss will be compounded by the delayed trades... I would expect 2 spreads loss minimum and more if I have any broker-related problems.

2. Learn to judge the "PACE" of the trade. Pace implies volatility especially with stocks that have a low float. If you cannot accurately anticipate the upticking or downticking you will accept added RISK because when it begins to move it can cover 1/2 pt in
about 10 to 15 seconds.
