RTev, From the article you posted.

<< Microsoft is on track to release Office 2000 in the first fiscal quarter of this year, said John Duncan, a product manager with Microsoft. The Release Candidate was sent out to a "few thousand" testers, he said.>>

I thought that Office 2000 was to be released in the 4th quarter, the April-June timeframe. Isn't that what Microsoft said in the conference call the other day? Didn't Greg Mafei say that Office 97 revenues that have coupons would be deferred this quarter, that ends March 31, into next quarter which is the 4th quarter? What gives? According to John Duncan in his above statement, Office 2000 will be released in the 1st fiscal quarter, that would be July - Sept timeframe.

Regards,
Bob
