Here's the release.

NEWS RELEASE

Royce Group Diamond Project, NWT Till Sampling Results Update

GMD Resource Corp. (the "Company") reports it has received from R.L. Barnett Geological microprobe results for all of the fine fractions from the 1998 till sampling that confirms the presence of anomalous concentrations of indicator minerals immediately down-ice from select airborne geophysical anomalies. As previously reported (News Releases # 206 January 26, 1999 and # 207 February 10, 1999) these targets fall within indicator mineral dispersion trains developed from 1995 through 1997 till sampling. Oxide ratio comparisons of ilmenite and clinopyroxene, from the 1998 samples to the previously confirmed regional indicator mineral chemistries clearly establishes that separate and unique populations of these minerals exist. These populations are directed toward the point source geophysical targets. Coarse fraction (0.5mm - 1.0mm) analysis will be forthcoming.

GMD is planning a Spring geophysical program on the most prospective targets. This will consist of low level detailed (line spacing = 50 meters) heliborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys followed by minimal ground magnetic and electromagnetic survey for confirmation and drill site location.
