Maybe its that Fat men tend to be Europeans (who tend to be richer) while Fat women tend to be European and divorced and therefore poorer, or work out and get skinny so they can get remarried.. Skinny men tend to be Chinese, Indian, or Japanese, where the poor outnumber the rich 20 - 1, while skinny women tend to be the same. African and African American women tend to be fat because of steatopygy but more importantly heavy diets of pork fat and unnutritious grains (like mealies). The average size of people raised in very similar conditions (as in Hawaii) showing striking average differences in size and weight, much of which appears to be associated with stereotypical secondary characteristics. On the average, Samoans, Hawaiians, Tongans are bigger that whites, who are bigger that Japanese and Chinese (who are taller than their Asian cousins), who are bigger than Filipinos.
Diet and behavior are reasonably similar across groups, almost everyone uses food as a friendship surrogate and eats far too much.
