QUALCOMM would enhance there CDMA position with a partner.ERICY is in dire straits without QUALCOMM and they know it.QUALCOMM can play this any way they want to ,due to there very strong IPR platform in CDMA.The agreement may go something like this:QUALCOMM agrees to sell the infrastructure division to ERICY in exchange for a broad cross licensing agreement.QUALCOMM and ERICY form a strategic alliance using QUALCOMM chips in all of ERICY products and together they overlay all existing GSM networks. This is the way I envision the execution that is to come soon.Of course fore-sight is not 20/20 as is hind-sight.QUALCOMM would win very very big in this scenario and ERICY would quickly have a world class CDMA capability. The infrastructure market is very difficult now as demonstrated by the big suppliers like Nortel,Motorola. The trick is economies of scale and great execution and that is precisely what I belive we would see.The royalties roll in along with a lucrative CDMA chip buisness. The hand set division keeps on rolling out great models with the QUALCOMM name displayed.Once again this is my vision and questimate and not fact.
