NWM, Scan my airliner BEFORE it takes off, please! Seriously, that would seem to be a great way to check for hydraulic fluid pressure leaks, predicting jet engine bearing failures and who knows what in other critical aircraft systems! And such ultra sound detection should be equally important in the civilian (private aircraft) and military aviation sectors, especially helocopters. Very life saving indeed! Any aircraft people out there? Bob
