Funk or Ross Ditlove or who ever it may be, the bottom line comes down to volume and speed. Look at Island volume and speed, then look at the other three ECN's with more volume then Archipelago and then look at Archipelago. Archipelago is not an industry leader and the technology is lousy compared to the competition. Why beat a dead horse? Well I have learned a tremendous amount of information from new, old and former MB Traders every week, and thus it is worth it to put some posts out to continue the learning process. Please keep those private messages coming. It was pointed out that FUNK had the first post on this thread. Keep hyping away; when new traders get burned by Archipelago they will learn their lesson the hard way.
