H&Q raises Tripos to "Buy" from "Hold," 2-11-97. Analyst Rachel Leheny metioned that TRPS reported "stronger than anticipated earnings for the fourth quarter." Her 96Q4 estiamte was 0.19, and TRPS reported 0.32. Her FY97 estimate is presently 0.70, although it might be revised upward later. I don't have any more details. Btw, H&Q was the most active market maker for TRPS in January 1997, handling 26.25% of volume (Source: Bloomberg). Philip
