OT -- Nice of you to join us here Lee. I guess I did not explain the situation well enough. We were talking about two different things. One is a wearable computer made by XYBR. One of the uses for this computer is that it leaves your hands free while you can brows (via voice, I think) the schematics or repair manuals or whatever else your heart desires. The target applications of this computer, have made it a rather challenging design (power supply, size+weight, field of vision, computer controls, etc.). I know that this is what is of interest to you. So you may want to look further into it. Xybernaut (sp?) has done a lot of work on this.
The other topic was what Sun Tzu is considering to build. Which is essentially a replacement for your TV (or computer) picture tube along a related sound system. I don't have 90% of the requirements that Xybernaut has. If it is to work though, I will need considerably higher resolutions, color depth, and faster refresh rates than the above system.
'hope this clarifies it. Sun Tzu |
