Jerry Sanders immediately comes to mind. Perhaps if he had just a trace of common sense, he would have understood that his business strategy of initiating a price war with an industry titan was very very foolish.

I remember this Japanese car company named Honda, which tried something really foolish like that back in the 70's.

Whatever happened to them, anyway?
