Sam,
For some reason, WOW (my version) has a problem handling the formula I gave you. It has been with their tech support people for almost a month now with no response. Anyway the formula would be:

2*std(Close,Periods,2)/mov(Close,Periods,S)

where Periods would be 21. Hopefully you don't have the same problems. With my old version of WOW this formula was not a problem.

If it does not work, then just using 2*std(c,21,2) would give you what you want which is the width between BB. Using the /mov probably makes more meaningful because a band width on a $5 stock would obvously be less than on a $100 stock...

I'm sure you know this, but it is important to recognize that band width would not be an indication of direction, but more like an indicator of volatility.

Hope this helps, and if you have WOW Pro 32-bit let me know if the formula crashes on your system as well. It will work on the 2.1 version and the Deluxe version. S T R A N G E!

Harold
