I usually get an email from CyBer each morning containing the short list for the day. However, I notice now that I do not seem to have received one since March 4. On that list, CYSP and IMOT were not indicated as available. I should also mention, of course, that the daily short list is available daily through the CyBerTrader trading software, in addition to the email list.
Sometimes, though, one can call in and ask for shares to short and this may be accommodated in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, I do not know if those two stocks could have been shorted today.
The short list is decent and getting better with time. By the way, why did you include DLJ with CyBer/Penson? I was not aware of any relationship with DLJ that would effect short shares availability. Sorry I could not be more helpful.
