HDTV is beginning roll-out and broadcasters have until 2006 to convert. However, in this time frame, along came an entirely new medium, the Internet, that may have even more applicability for the technology.

Sorry, Ed, but I have heard such refrains many times before. They remind me a bit of how some thought that Zenith would win the HDTV standards battles against heavyweights like Lucent. It's the classic cargo cult mentality -- the new technology is going to drop down from the sky to restore the tribe to its former glory.

What is DST 19mm? Does this form factor have any particular significance? What is it's advantage? What chance, realistically does this flea sized company have of its solution becoming a standard. I'm not sure AXC would have the marketing muscle to do the job if it had the best technology on the planet.

It takes $$$ to get mindshare or market share. It doesn't just happen automatically or cheaply. It does not flow magically from a patent. Inevitably, a better capitalized competitor will come along with something similar. It takes big bucks to fight these wars -- legal, marketing, recruiting, and continual R&D. I doubt this company has enough of a bankroll to play. There's far more to it than just the "technology".

I don't mean to discourage anyone. I wouldn't be here if I did not think this company may be undervalued. I am only looking for some tangible evidence of the value of its technology and how it intends to develop it.
