Interesting reading:

Within the next dozen years, the federal Bureau of Prisons must essentially double in size, from 110 prisons to well over 200. It costs $25,000 to feed, house and watch over each federal inmate and 70% of federal prisoners are imprisoned for drug offenses.

Let's dream for a second: 110 prisons times 5 detoxifications per week times 52 weeks per year time $3,000 gross per detoxification equals $85.8 million per year growing to $171.6 million in 12 years. No wonder CITA is trying to break into the prison system! Further consider that the prisons would be saving about $3,000 per detoxification based upon CITA's program cost of $7,000 instead of the $10,000 we have been told that they are currently spending. In other words, the prisons would save $85.8 million per year growing to $171.6 million in 12 years. Sounds like a win win combination for everyone involved! And this is based on only 5 detoxifications per week!

Please Frank, make it so!!
