Michael, Hi!!! DELL needs service....and the technology of IBM will aid them for years...what really occurs is ...if anything...but, I have been hearing quite a few things for a long long long time up here...(middle of IBM)...IBM people tell me that it is obvious...IBM can no longer compete against DELL in the PC market...Gerstner has long maintained that he was turning the company more and more into a service company...I have heard about the in fighting at IBM..."Deal in the making"...etc...Michael Dell taking over eventually....what else do you do at 34 and have already conquered half the world...??
