Not exactly as you put it. The soul dies when it enters the body. Consider the parable of the seed. The seed dies, when buried to rise again in its glory. The sacrifice of Christ was on the cross of leaving heaven and entering the animal man to evolve him into a Christ soul. This process does continue with death, burial in flesh, and resurrected. This is not to go into a long dissertation or posts running rampart. Each person has to discover their own truth. This is mine. You are welcome to believe otherwise, or study religions and prepare yourself for whatever you wish. I do not proselyte. I do not attend church. My personal opinion is Christianity is the worst thing that has happened to humanity in the age just ending. Their ridiculous belief in the Roman bible as God's word is beyond me. Yet for the first 40 years of my life I swallowed the lie hook, line, and sinker.
