Schwab announced today that they expect to beat estimates this quarter by .05 - .10. This bodes well for all online brokerages and I think many are going to beat their estimates. I have an E-Trade account.. and Ameritrade has consistently been quicker and up more. Ameritrade decreased their advertising spending simply because too many new customers were signing up. A good growth problem to have. Also, most Ameritrader's don't know this, but if you are in the top 2% of active traders, like I am, we have advantages that I'm not at liberty to discuss. Let's just say it eliminates ever waiting to place an order. So, that is why I stay on as a customer. They are catering to the most active traders. People like me that generate $20-$30K in commissions yearly. I make an average of 10 - 20 trades a day. Good Trading! -DavidCG
