Hey, the site doesn't seek to discourage anyone from doing PRK or LASIK. It just seeks to inform without any candy-coating, which is what you tend to get from the laser centers, and even the manufacturers to an extent.

I'm relieved that, at last, there's an unbiased site which talks tough on both PRK and LASIK. After going thru much of the site, I've learned my previous enthusiasm for PRK was a little frothy, and my LASIK concerns were not mine alone.

Great site. It ain't cozy, just hard info.
