First, I agree with the time-to-market advantage that 3dfx will gain over the TNT2 and the price difference.

Also, Forbes Digital Tool has a nice little article on the upcoming ad campagin:

I like the target of $21 (analyst quoted in the story) and the reaffirmation that branding matters in technology. I almost think I should've posted this on TMF, but it seems that the branding and Glide part of 3dfx makes them a "rules breaker" in the graphics card area.

Also, I'm going to write to CGW (Gamespot). Their new benchmark should allow 3dfx cards to take advantage of Glide where available (as long as CGW is satisified that that graphics are at least as good under Glide as DX6 and OpenGL).
